Wherein we discuss just how different our TV Show lives growing up were. One of us lived in a cartoon bubble drinking Kool-Aid and wearing Robin's tights while the other was downing hard-core Pepsi and living In Living Color. Who do you think is who? 

In our last episode, there wasn't enough time to focus on the man, the myth, the legend Fred Rogers, so we do a little bit of a deep dive here. 

The TV shows that made us us. 

Do you remember the good old days of waking up on Saturday morning and watching cartoons? Well, then you obviously weren't born in the 2000's. You see, kiddos, back in the day, the only streaming you did was when you were risking diarrhea by taken a drink from the garden hose (notice "streaming" has double meaning here...) If you wanted to watch a show, you had to be in front of the TV at just the right time, or you missed it. And unless you were recording on the VCR (ask your mom) who knows when you'd ever see that episode again. 

Times were tough, but those times gave us Saved By the Bell, the OG Muppet Babies, and the blessed saint himself, Mr. Rogers. Join us for a TGIF'n good time.
